Online reporting aids fight against anti-social behaviour

People experiencing anti-social behaviour can now report problems online to Maidstone Housing Trust.

Tracey Boast, Tenancy Advisor (ASB) helped develop the new facility. She explains “We take anti-social behaviour issues very seriously, because it affects whole communities. Because incidents very rarely take place during office hours it’s important that people know how to report problems to us.”

People who use the online web-form answer a series of questions designed to form a log of the incident, this contains all the details required to take action. The web-form works as a way to report problems, but also to log them. Clear records of events are crucial evidence when action needs to be taken to combat anti-social behaviour.

Maidstone Housing Trust works with local partners including Kent Police and Maidstone Borough Council to tackle anti-social behaviour. The Trust can take action against tenants, including anti-social behaviour contracts and as a last resort eviction.
