Customers enjoy a 'knees up' at party

Customers of Maidstone Housing Trust’s Supporting People services enjoyed an afternoon of music and entertainment today (Wednesday 20 February 2008).
The Trust organised a social get-together at Senacre Community Hall for 70 people from across the Maidstone area. Guests were treated to traditional ‘variety’ style entertainment, including music and a comedian.
Margaret Jeffery, from the Trust’s Supporting People team, said “We’re really looking forward to a great afternoon of fun. We support over 1,500 people living in sheltered housing schemes and their own homes.”
Stella Collins, who organised the event with Margaret, added “February is a cold, dark month, and it’s great to be able to offer this social opportunity”.
The event was supported by Maidstone Residents Group (MRG), who kindly provided the refreshments and financially sponsored the entertainment.
