Residents host awards and AGM event

Maidstone Housing Trust customers from across Maidstone gathered to celebrate the winners of the Green Fingers garden competition and hold the Maidstone Residents Group Annual General Meeting on Wednesday 21 November.

The winners and highly commended entries for the Green Fingers Garden Competition were awarded prizes and certificates by Maidstone Resident Group Chair Ken Stevens, and Paul Negus, from Mears, who generously sponsored the competition.

Following the presentation and a buffet, members of Maidstone Resident Group moved onto their Annual General Meeting. At the meeting they elected officers for the year, and recieved reports on their work from the Chair and Secretary.
