A shared vision for the future and a commitment to staff training have resulted in Maidstone Housing Trust gaining the Investor in People business quality mark.

A recent assessment found staff at the Trust felt their contribution to the organisation is recognised and valued. The assessor reported that the Trust has “a workforce that is focused, keen and in tune with [its] Vision and Culture”. The Trust celebrates success through regular events and an annual staff conference. Personal achievements are linked to the overall corporate mission, creating a workforce which is engaged and focused.

Chief Executive Peter Stringer said “In three years we have created and developed an organisation which is focused on providing the best services for our tenants. Our commitment to staff development and welfare proves we know we could not do this without an excellent team. Reaching the Investor in People standard is further recognition of this”.
