Maidstone Housing Trust staff donate fun run money to Beacon Furniture community projects

Staff from Maidstone Housing Trust have handed over £270.10 today (Wednesday 28 March) to Beacon Furniture, based in Shepway. The money was raised from a fun run in February from Shepway to Park Wood, two of the Trust’s main areas of housing and a major focus for the Furniture Project.

The Beacon Furniture and Household projects operate from shop premises in Northumberland Court, which Maidstone Housing Trust lets to them at a reduced rent. The projects

Fun run organiser Kate Lowther said “We provide houses across Maidstone, Beacon Furniture help people on very low income turn houses into homes and we wanted to support that”.
