Report to tenants features tenants

Bagpipes, steam trains, knitting, needlework, dancing and model-making are just some of the hobbies featured in the calendar style annual report Maidstone Housing Trust is sending to its 6600 customers in the Maidstone area.

Twelve tenants are photographed enjoying their pastimes in the calendar, which also includes the performance information and financial activities for 2005 / 06. The report highlights the work the Trust has done to deliver the promises made when housing stock was transferred to the Trust in February 2004, including regeneration of the Park Wood area, renovating kitchens and bathrooms, and improving resident involvement.

Maidstone Housing Trust Chief Executive Peter Stringer said “Our customers are at the heart of what we do and we wanted our report to them to reflect that. We provide over 6000 homes and it's a pleasure to show how these enjoy living in them”.

The Trust has also published full financial statements and the same information in a standard annual report format. The three documents are available on the Trusts' website at www.maidstonehousing.org.uk.
