MHT Secures £5m of Housing Corporation Investment
The Trust has been successful in securing c. £5m grant funding for 95 new homes over the next two years, including key contributions to the Park Wood and Coombe Farm schemes.
The schemes we have secured funding for (listed in alphabetic order) are as follows:
- Bicknor Road, Park Wood 5 new homes
- Coombe Farm, Regen Phase 1 10 new homes
- Coombe Farm, Regen Phase 2 15 new homes
- Cuxton Road, Park Wood 6 new homes
- Hollingworth Road, Park Wood 9 new homes
- Oak Tree Site, Park Wood 7 new homes
- Park Wood Regen Phase 1 10 new homes
- Park Wood Regen Phase 2 15 new homes
- York Road, Maidstone 18 new homes
Total 95 new homes, with a total investment of c.£11.37m and grant of £4.99m over two years.
All schemes will be for local households in housing need at affordable rents. In future we will be developing proposals for low cost home ownership in locations where there is clear evidence of needs and demand.
