Garden Competition 2009

Spring is here and it’s time to launch our annual garden competition! If you have green fingers and love spending time pruning and preening your garden why not enter and be in with a chance to win from a prize fund of £500 in vouchers!

We have 5 categories this year:

best small garden – This will be the small garden with the big ideas! We will be looking at best use of space, planting and charm.
eco-friendly garden – Calling all climate-controllers! This will be the garden which embraces ‘green’ gardening, using recycled water & pot plants, composting or gardening without pesticides.
best balcony/hanging baskets – Not forgetting those without a garden! This will be the best looking balcony with flowers in potted plants, hanging baskets or window boxes.
most beautiful garden – This will be the garden which is the belle of the ball. It must be eye-catching, full of colour, well kept and looking really beautiful.
tallest sunflower – One for the kids. If you wish to take up the challenge and grow the tallest sunflower this one’s for you.

The competition is open to tenants and leaseholders. You must be keeping to your tenancy agreement, for example not in rent arrears or under notice for any other breach.
