Housing Adaptations

The Trust is committed to assisting tenants to remain in their homes. We operate a programme of Housing Adaptations though an annual budget with requests in the main being supported by a referral from Kent County Council Occupational Therapy Bureau.

We pay for adaptations, with assistance in the form of part-funding from Maidstone Borough Council. It is our policy to provide adaptations wherever possible where these are necessary to meet your needs.  We may wish to discuss with you the possibility of moving to a more suitable alternative home if this is the most practical and viable option.

If you need adaptations to be made to your home because of your age or health, you may need to have an assessment by a Kent County Council Occupational Therapist.

We can take details from you and make an application to the Occupational Therapy Bureau on your behalf, please call us. You may be referred to the OT Bureau by your doctor or by a hospital if you have received treatment. Anyone can make a referral.

You may prefer to contact the bureau yourself, their contact details are
